First of all, general DNWs.
For AUs: I enjoy canon divergence and what-ifs, as well as having a soft spot for soulmate AUs— especially platonic soulmates, especially when you have a whole bunch with all different relationship dynamics. I don't like modern AUs or other AUs that serve to make the setting more mundane. I'm okay with crossovers, but if crossing with a non-requested fandom please keep the focus on the fandom(s) I actually asked for.
Tonally, I'm cool with mostly anything from humor to drama. I'm not into pure fluff with no driving plot, and I'd rather things not get overwhelmingly dark, but otherwise I'm probably cool with whatever you throw at me! Also, all prompts are entirely optional. They're just there to give an idea of what I'm after, I'll be happy as long as it follows the general trail of what I've set down!
First of all, general DNWs.
- No sexual content. Keep it PG-13, please. Apart from swearing. Characters can swear as much as they want.
- No unrequested shipfic. Canon and background ships are fine, though.
- No adult/minor ships, here defined as a character canonically under 18 in a romantic or sexual relationship with a character over 18. This includes immortal characters; if they look like a kid and act like a kid, they're a kid. This also includes aging a character up for the fic.
- Blood and injuries are generally fine, but please do not include needles, self-harm, major injuries to hands or feet, or descriptions of invasive medical procedures.
- Also no 1st Person POV, please.

Kid Icarus
The subject of much of my love as of late, particularly Kid Icarus: Uprising! A game that totally destroys the fourth wall, my wrists, and anyone's hope that it might be accurate to Greek Mythology. It's got the charm* though, and that's what really counts, right?
* Gods being a bunch of petty assholes.
For fandom-specific DNWs, please do not write Smash Bros. fanfiction. This may seem like a strange and very obvious request, and it is. Just write a Kid Icarus fic. Also, no elaborate setting AUs please, just missing scenes/canon divergence type stuff!
Ship-wise, I'm mostly looking for genfic. I'm okay with Gaol/Magnus and Medusa/Palutena, but just about any other ship is a no-go. Pit/Dark Pit in particular is a DNW.
I have requested Any character. Any at all from the tagset! I've got specific thoughts on what I'd like to see from each of them, but they've all got the basic throughline of wanting to see some missing scenes/canon divergence type stuff. And also Worldbuilding. There's no specific set of Worldbuilding prompts, because that's pretty much worked into each of the character prompts!
Firstly, Dark Pit! For him in particular, I'm interested in seeing interactions with the many characters he doesn't get to meet in canon, as well as filling in what exactly he's doing in all the chapters where he's just kinda doing his own thing far away from the actual plot.
Pit! He is very small and a little dumb but also very sweet and could kick your ass. Like a golden retriever with a gun.
Palutena! Pit's boss who is also kinda his mom. Probably not biologically, but like, come on. Look at them.
Medusa! Cool dark snake lady...
For Magnus! He's very much grounded in the repercussions of the gods' actions, as opposed to how all the divine beings are well aware they're in a game and act accordingly, and I think he'd be a good fit for deconstructing some of the less acknowledged parts of the game.
Viridi! Pint-sized goddess of ecoterrorism. She's awful. I love her.
And finally, Pandora! Look at this evil ball of vapour.

- Magnus and Dark Pit meet and bond over their mutual disdain for the gods. Maybe they happen to run into each other after Chapter 9, or after the Chaos Kin arc, or even entirely post-canon? Anything works.
- Considering he's completely absent during the Aurum Arc, I'm tempted to believe Dark Pit was just hanging out on a beach somewhere ignoring the alien invasion. You could go cracky with that, or you could delve into a serious analysis of why he doesn't get involved.
- What happens to Dark Pit during the three-year time skip? He's soulless, obviously, but where is his body and what happens to it without a soul or a master to control it? Do we take his comment about being unconscious literally, and say he was in a coma, or was it more like the puppet-like state of Pit's body? Or something else??? Go wild!

- Gimme some backstory! How does a kid end up as captain of Palutena's guard? Even if he is an angel, it's still pretty weird!
- Speaking of angels. Pit (and by extension Dark Pit) is the only angel we know of, and it's pretty heavily implied whatever other angels used to exist are probably all dead. How did this happen, and how is Pit the only one who survived?
Palutena! Pit's boss who is also kinda his mom. Probably not biologically, but like, come on. Look at them.
- Expansion into Medusa and Palutena's history together! How close were they, before Palutena banished her? Intimately close, perhaps? Are they jilted ex-lovers now, perhaps?
- Palutena plays a lot of pranks on Pit, but she still clearly cares about him and worries when bad shit happens. I'd like some fics going into that, maybe about Pit getting badly hurt and Palutena worrying over him and blaming herself for putting him in that situation?
- How Palutena is worshipped by humans! This one probably tips pretty far into worldbuilding, but I'd love to see just how Humanity sees Palutena and how they go about worshipping her.

- See again: Medusa and Palutena's history together.
- More specifically, some exploration of her turn to evil would be cool! Perhaps humanity used to turn to her to guide them through dark times, but then an age of prosperity came and they abandoned her in favour of Palutena, and in her jealousy Medusa lashed out?

- Some expansion of Magnus's backstory would be nice. What happened to his child, his history with Gaol and the mercenaries, stuff like that.
- I'd also enjoy a look at the whole War Of The Gods thing from his perspective! Really fucked up how they keep leaving humanity in the crosshairs, huh.
Viridi! Pint-sized goddess of ecoterrorism. She's awful. I love her.
- More expansion into her frustrations with humanity! Just how much had to happen for her to go to such extremes? Was it a long, protracted destruction of the environment, or did she just decide to nip things in the bud before anything could really get bad?
- More on her relationship with Dark Pit! Just how does a goddess manage to recruit an angel whose primary character trait is "hates the gods"?
And finally, Pandora! Look at this evil ball of vapour.
- What exactly happened to make her lose her body? Something absurd, I'm sure.
- Honestly, just about everything about this lady is a laugh. How DID she make a practice course for driving without hands? How did she make an entire labyrinth without hands?! I need answers!
The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords by Akira Himekawa
The manga adaptation of a plot-light four-player co-op Zelda game which is much, much better than it has any right to be! You know it, you love it! And if you don't know and/or love it, you should go (re)read it just to be sure. Don't worry, it'll be fine. You won't bawl your eyes out at all.
It's a fandom mainstay to write in an AU where for no reason in particular, the Links all remain separate after returning the Four Sword. I'd appreciate if you stuck with that. You can throw in a hand-waving explanation or leave it unaddressed as you see fit, but I'm not interested in any fic about a recombined Link.
For ships, I'm most interested in the relationship between Shadow and Vio. Romantic or platonic, I don't care. Blue/Red and Green/Zelda are alright as background ships, but only if you really think it's necessary for the fic.
I requested Vio and Shadow together, and so naturally that's who I want to see! The drama of a cunning and manipulative hero pretending to switch sides so he can fuck up the bad guys from the inside only to get genuinely attached, the evil clone of the hero realizing the error of his ways and sacrificing himself to kill the big bad as well... It's juicy and delicious and I want to see the aftermath.

- Post-canon fic about Vio trying to resurrect Shadow. He's only a shadow, it can't be THAT hard, right? Not for someone as smart as him. He'll figure it out sooner or later.
- Any sort of canon divergence in Vio's double-agent act! For example, what if Vio didn't get caught trying to smash the mirror? What if the fight with Green went wrong somehow? What if he talked Shadow into swapping sides, instead of the other way around?
- Soulmate AU. What kind of complicated mess results from one person getting split into four? Or five, depending how Shadow fits in? Tell me about it in excruciating detail.
CPU Kerfuffle

It's the madness of random improvised elements brought together over time, sometimes given retroactive meaning because certain details definitely weren't that deep when they were originally declared. It's all-organic weirdness. Free-range horseshittery.
Ship-wise, I'm fine with all the canon ships hanging out in the background. However, I'm mostly here to spread Cupid Shuffle/Heartbreak propaganda. I just wanna see a no-grasp-on-ethical-boundaries Cupid fail to get wooed by a no-good-at-romance HB.

- Soulmate shenanigans! Especially if soulmates can be romantic or platonic. Is it true love, or is Cupid's determination to matchmake just that influential on HB's life? Who can say!
- Just anything with clueless Cupid and confused-pining HB would be great.
